SELF ESTEEM! :: MONTREAL PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHER

Working with people is so amazing because you never know what opportunity will come knocking at your door. It really seems that everything in my life (hope you guys can relate) comes in at the perfect moment and time. I have been thinking for a while now that I want to publish a book with my photographs, but was still not clear on the direction. A past client of mine who is a journalist by the name of Nadia Fezzani you can check out her work www.nadiafezzani.com (she is also in the midst of publishing her book) on interviews she has done with serial killers. A completely off the wall subject!!!! After a few exchanges of emails and phone convo, she lets me in on a project she is working on at the moment, which is encouraging kids with low self esteem. She explained that low self esteem plays a HUGE role in their future, just like it does with the serial killers she interviewed. I’m sure most of us have dealt with self esteem issues…I know I have in the past and was able to overcome it. All this to say my contribution will be photographing these kids with the goal of encouraging them to see and realise their true beauty and to love and accept themselves for who they are. Together we are planning to create a book…I will leave the writing to her (hehe), that will hopefully inspire or touch many of your souls! I start shooting this month and plan on keeping you all posted on my incredible journey! Stay aboard! XOX
